Tour to Altyn Emel National Park 4 days

The Altyn-Emel National Park is a reserve park in Kazakhstan, located in the southeast of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region. The park protects 4596 square kilometers of land. The national park covers the southwestern foothills of the Dzungarian Alatau and extends in the south to the Kapshagay reservoir and sections of the Ili River. The park is home to 70 species of mammals, including goitered gazelle (Gazella subgutturoza), argali (Ovis ammon) and Turkmenian donkey (Kulan) (Equus hemionus kulan). In 2003, eight wild Przewalski's horses were brought to the reserve. The animals are now breeding successfully and can be easily observed here.

The administration of the Altyn-Emel National Park is located in the small village of Bashchi, north of the park. We offer excursions and tours to the Singing Dune, Aktau and Katutau mountains and other attractions of the national park. It is forbidden to enter the national park without a local escort.
