The route passes through the little-visited Kaskelensky, Aksai and Kargalinsky gorges, located a few kilometers west of Almaty. The route runs in a westerly direction and runs parallel to the main ridge of the Zailiyskiy Alatau. The long and high-water basin of numerous tributaries of the Aksai River is traversed, the path passes in the immediate vicinity of the glaciers flowing down from the northern slopes of the ridge past the beautiful moraine lakes located at the end of the glaciers. Several snowy high peaks close the Aksai circus. One of them, more than 4000 meters high, can be climbed. Then the path runs along the Kaskelen gorge through wide plateaus and slopes overgrown with dense spruce forests. The last kilometers along the turbulent, high-water Kaskelen river lead to the highway leading to the city of Almaty.
