Excursion to Ak Kainar and Kuljabasi petroglyphs


The Ak-Kainar petroglyphs are located in the Zhambyl region on the territory of Kazakhstan, the petroglyphs date back to the Bronze Age and were discovered here in 2008. The place is also known for the fact that the petroglyphs are located in the Kulzhabasy mountains, these mountains are also a local attraction and the place has the second name of Bulls of Kulzhabasy. On the horns of bulls, there are people dancing in wolf masks. Why bulls, because the images of bulls are the main ones here, and are of great interest to both researchers and guests of this place. The place is considered sacred; solar symbols, the cult of the bull and the cult of the wolf are depicted here. Since the place was discovered not so long ago, you can become one of the first researchers of the antiquity of our ancestors.
