Astana Parks – where to walk in the capital –
Lovers' Park was opened in 2005 in Astana. The park is always crowded, here you can meet residents of the capital, take a walk and spend time. There is a monument to "Lovers" in the park, the sculpture depicts a young guy and a girl who are connected by romantic relationships and love. Lovers' Park symbolizes traditional family values, family union, love, friendship, marriage, birth and upbringing of children. There is a special "First Kiss" bench in the park, a "Reconciliation" bench. 3000 thousand trees, pine, birch, poplar, spruce are planted in the park. In the center of the park there is a beautiful fountain that works in the summer.
How to get there
Lovers' Park is located in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, in the city center. The park is located just behind the headquarters of KazMunayGas, between Dongelek Square and opposite Khan Shatyr. GPS coordinates: 51°07'54"N 71°24'34"E
