"Tabagan" was built in 2005 in the Shibinsai (Zailisky Alatau) ravine near the village of Beskaynar (formerly Mountain Gardener). The resort is located 17 kilometers from Almaty. The height of the upper point of the slope is 1 650 meters. The total area of the complex is 55 hectares. The complex is divided into two parts passing through it a wide road, but for the convenience of guests through it were built two junctions. Visually, it looks like a terrace having a top and bottom tier.
On the territory of the "Tabagan" complex there are 11 ski slopes with a total length of 37 kilometers. There are tracks of different levels of complexity, suitable for both experienced skiers and freeriders who want to ride on the "virgin land", and for beginners. Slopes are perfectly adapted for snowboarding.
Lifts
On the territory of the complex there are two rope-chairlifts with lengths of 400 and 600 meters and one pair of cable cars with a length of 1,000 meters.
Catering and accommodation
Accommodation in the complex is provided in cottages, divided into several "villages". The most budgetary - the village of "Berezovaya" - consists of two cottages with eighteen beds. In one cottage there are 8 double rooms and 2 single rooms. The price of single rooms - from 6 500 to 10 000 tenge, double - from 7 500 tenge to 12 000 tenge. The village "Klenovaya" consists of three cottages with eight beds. In one cottage there are 4 double rooms. There are two rooms in the room. The price of the rooms is from 10 500 to 20 000 tenge. Village "Rowan" includes a three-story hotel with single and double accommodation. The price ranges from 6 500 to 14 000 for single rooms, from 8 500 to 17 000 for double rooms. Village "Sosnovaya" (VIP) and VILLA: in one cottage there is 1 four-bedded room. There are four rooms in the room. The price is from 45 000 to 95 000 tenge. In "Tabagan" there are two restaurants: a two-story "Tabalandia" with 200 seats and "Tabakerka" with a circular fireplace in the center of the hall. The average bill is from 2,500 to 5,000 tenge per person.
Transport
From Almaty to "Tabagan" you can drive along the Talgar road, turning behind the roundabout of the village of Besagash towards the village of Beskaynar (Mountain Gardener). The complex is located practically on the territory of the village, which can be reached for 300 tenge per person by taxi, departing from Sayakhat.
In addition to the trails, on the territory of the sports and entertainment complex there is an extended toboggan slide. Rent of plastic sledges from morning till evening will cost 500 tenge. For riding on cylinders you will have to pay 400 tenge for one descent. There is also an ice rink here (skating - 1 000 tenge, skating - 1 000 tenge), a swimming pool (from 2 000 to 4 000 tenge), a field for mini-football (3 000-5 000 tenge per hour).
