We invite you to climb Mount Yumba (also known as Shukur) in the Big Almaty Gorge near the Big Almaty Lake. The route starts from the moonlit meadow, which is located just above the high-mountain hotel Alpine Rose. The mountain is little known, but there is a mountain route to it. You need to climb to the upper reaches of the moonlit meadow and move up the gorge, reaching the ridge, you need to approach the summit along the ridge. The route is not difficult, it will take you one day. You can stay on the moonlit meadow for the night and climb in the morning, you can visit the summit in one day, but you need to get to the hotel by car and start the climb from there. If you want to spend the night on the moonlit meadow, you will need all the necessary equipment, tents, sleeping bags, etc. You can also spend the night at the hotel and go hiking in the morning.
Route: Almaty city - Big Almaty gorge - Moon Glade (Shukur) - base camp - climbing Mount Yumba - return to Almaty city
