Zholaskan is a mosque, an architectural monument of the XVIII century, a sacred sacred place and a place of pilgrimage on the Mangyshlak peninsula and in the Mangystau region. The mosque is part of the ancient necropolis of Zholaskan. The underground mosque of Zholaskan is cut down in the rocky base of the shell rock, its depth is 9 meters, and consists of three rooms, the rooms in the mosque are located one after another. The Zholaskan necropolis, which includes the Zholaskan Mosque, contains 100 monuments and ancient tombs, the necropolis dates back to the XVIII-XIX centuries. The necropolis and the mosque were explored in 1984.
