Issyk Kurgans is a group of mounds, ancient burial mounds (necropolis), a monument of history and ancient architecture of the 5th century BC, a sacred and sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the Almaty region. The mound is Scythian (Saka) and is an ancient burial mound, it was discovered and explored in 1969 by a group of archaeologists from the Kazakh Institute of History. The remains of two people in gold armor and gold jewelry were found in the mound. In total, about 1,000 thousand gold jewelry, ceramic jugs, wooden plates, horse saddles made of leather, weapons and silver bowls were found in the mound.

Information -

Issyk burial mounds (kurgans) are full of mysteries and riddles, when archaeological excavations were carried out on the mounds, two silver bowls were found in one of the mounds. There are inscriptions on both bowls that have not yet been deciphered. One of the linguists claims that the inscriptions are made in the ancient Iranian translation language, which does not exist in our time. Other linguists claim that the inscriptions are pro-Turkish and indicate that these are plates for food, which is unlikely. The height of the main mound is 6 meters high and 60 meters in diameter, a burial chamber is located inside, there are 45 large mounds in total on the complex, the area of the ancient burial (necropolis) is 3 square kilometers.
