The Obelisk of Eternal Glory was erected in 1974 in the city of Pavlodar on Victory Square (Pervomaiskaya Square) in honor of the fallen soldiers in the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945. Also in the square, the eternal flame burns and never goes out, which is located on the eastern side of the monument and is located in the center of a bronze five-pointed star at the foot of the stele, and there is also a bronze wreath nearby. The monument consists of three steles 24 meters high installed on a concrete base. The monument symbolizes the unity of the party, army and people during the war. Sculptors: I.I. Vinogradov, I.P. Lopatin; architect D.S. Vitukhin.
