The House of Pioneers (Palace of Schoolchildren) in the city of Pavlodar was opened to schoolchildren on November 5, 1978, is an architectural monument, an example of the construction of unusual knowledge during the Soviet Union. The palace is named after the hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Maksimovich Kataev, and his bust is installed in the palace. In 1982, the Palace of Pioneers in the city of Pavlodar was visited by the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, Comrade Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich Kunaev.

The Pavlodar Palace of Schoolchildren hosts the education of school-age children, here children can express themselves, can create and create something new or improve the old.
