Information -
The museum presents the personality of Dinmukhamed Kunaev, his role and activities in the development and prosperity of the state, his moral qualities, the everyday side of life. The museum presents the interior of the office of the historical figure and other things that he used in everyday life. The museum reveals the personality of Kunaev not only as a statesman, but also as a real person. The period from the 1955s to the 1960s was chosen for this exhibition. This period was the years of Kunayev's development as a person and a statesman.
"The Office of Dinmukhamed Akhmetuly Kunaev" is distinguished by the complete authenticity of its exhibits; contemporaries and friends of the man who had repeatedly visited Kunayev's office helped with its design. Personal items include: certificates, historical documents, pens, a set of decorative lighters, various handmade knives and souvenirs. Visitors can touch all of this. In addition, Kunayev's bust, portraits and carpets are exhibited. The fact that there is no opportunity to see such items in any other museum in Almaty, of course, arouses the interest of visitors. Of particular interest are the originals of all exhibits; the office style of that time has been preserved. People who were in the "Kunayev's office" felt as if they had been transported back in time to the distant past of our city. The museum library contains Kunaev's own books and those of his colleagues, the total circulation of which exceeds 3,000 copies. The museum's books and manuscripts contain various valuable information. The museum has a research center.
