Unique open-air space for sports on the right bank of the Ishim River -

Triathlon Park Astana was opened in July 2016 as a gift to the city for its 18th anniversary by the BI Group construction holding. Located in Astana, in a picturesque bend of the Ishim River embankment, the 45-hectare park has become the main training base for runners, cyclists, and athletes.
Thanks to its well-thought-out infrastructure and the absence of car traffic, it is recognized as one of the best sports venues in the CIS. In the immediate vicinity of the park are Presidential Park and the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
The park is designed in the form of three concentric circles with a total length of more than 8 kilometers. The largest outer circle, 2,300 meters long, is intended for cyclists, while the inner tracks with a special tartan coating are created for comfortable and safe running. Walking through the park, on the other side of the river, you will see the Ak Orda presidential residence and Zhetysu Park.
The prestigious international IRONMAN 70.3 race is held annually in the park, gathering thousands of participants from all over the world. But even on ordinary days, the park is full of life: from morning workouts to evening family walks against the backdrop of the left bank's skyscrapers.

Triathlon Park Astana is located in the Almaty district, on the right bank of the Ishim River, near Bauyrzhan Momyshuly Park and Presidential Park, Astana city, Republic of Kazakhstan.

You can reach the park by public transport to the «Momyshuly Park» stop. Buses No. 15, 15A, 30, 47, 51, or 56 are suitable.
Also, it is convenient to enter the park from the embankment side or via the bridges from Kadyrgali Zhalayiri and Elim-Ai streets.
Entrance: Free.

The park territory is maximally adapted for different types of activities. In addition to running and cycling paths, modern street workout areas with exercise infographics, three football fields with artificial turf, and tennis courts are installed here. In 2021, two outdoor swimming pools were opened on the embankment, becoming a popular place to rest in the heat. In winter, life in the park does not stop: the running tracks turn into excellent ski routes that are regularly cleared.
A developed service zone is provided for visitors: rental points for bicycles, electric scooters, and skis are available, and free changing rooms and toilets are equipped. Food outlets and coffee shops are located in different parts of the park. Special attention is paid to safety — direction signs are installed around the entire perimeter, separating the flows of athletes.

• Sports Circles: The architectural feature of the park is three intersecting rings with a total length of 8 km. The outer ring is asphalted for bicycles, while the middle and inner ones have a winding shape with climbs and descents, covered with tartan for running.
• Thematic Zones: In 2020, a playground in the style of a medieval castle appeared in the park. This is a popular photo zone with a viewing platform. In winter, an ice rink is flooded here, and slides for tubings are built.
• Summer Vacation: An area with swimming pools, sun loungers, and shade structures is set up on the embankment. For children, a play complex in the form of a ship and swings are installed.
• Landscape Features: There are no tall trees in the park yet, so it can be hot in summer and windy in winter. However, the air is always fresh due to its proximity to the river, and for nature lovers, there is a small zoo corner with rabbits.

The park landscape is designed functionally: modern lighting and comfortable benches create a pleasant atmosphere. The track design takes professional sports standards into account, providing proper cushioning for runners. Stepped descents to the water and viewing platforms allow you to enjoy the panorama of the modern city.
