The stele of the Anyrakai Battle was erected in the Almaty region in honor of the victory of the Kazakh people over the hordes of the Zhungars. The monument consists of two stone steles, the material is granite, a stele that symbolizes the Kazakh people of a dark color and much higher than a second stele of a lighter color that symbolizes the defeated Zhungars, and a small stele is chipped off that symbolizes the victory of the Kazakh people. The Anrakai battle between the military formations of the Kazakh people and the Zhungars took place in the spring of 1730 in the Anrakai tract.

Around the stela of the Anrakai battle there are 12 stones in a circle, which symbolize the 12-year cycle, and symbolize the confrontation between the two peoples. Former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was personally present at the opening of the memorial to the Battle of Anrakay and said “The people should know their history and realize that in unity there is strength.” The height at which the monument is located is 890 meters above sea level and is located on a hill, from the hill a beautiful panorama opens Almaty region. The decoration of the Kazakh stele contains the “koshkar muyiz” ornament - “argali horns”, which resembles a bow pointed towards the enemy. The authors of the structure are the President of the Union of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Artist Timur Suleimenov, Vice-President of the Union of Designers Almas Ordabaev and Head of the Almaty Regional Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Sairan Fazylov.
