The mausoleum of Bekkul Bi is an architectural monument, a sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the Aktobe region. The mausoleum was built in 2000 on the site of the ancient burial of Saint Bekkul Baba. Legend has it that the holy man Bekkul lived in the XVII century, he studied in Bukhara, Samarkand, Khorezm, in the same cities he was a respected man, many people knew him. Bekkul Bi possessed mystical power, and clairvoyance could heal people from ailments and diseases with prayers and predict the future, he bore the title "Aulie". He was also a national preacher, preached Islam on the territory of Kazakhstan.
