The obelisk monument to the internationalist soldiers is a monument of monumental art, installed in the city of Aktobe in 2007. The memorial obelisk was erected in honor of the internationalist soldiers who participated in the war in Afghanistan in 1979. At the top of the monument is a five-pointed red star, the symbol of the Soviet Union. The entire monument is made of granite, and is divided into two parts. On the front side of the monument are the names of the soldiers of the heroes. Many Kazakhstanis died in that war, about 1,000 people, and many became disabled. In total, over 14,000 people died in that war, and 80 soldiers became heroes of the Soviet Union. Sculptor G. R. Kenbai.

The obelisk to the internationalist soldiers is located in Aktobe at the intersection of Abai Avenue and Yeset Batyr Street, Aktobe region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
