The headquarters building for personnel of the 101st Rifle Brigade is an architectural monument, a historical building with a military past, built in 1936. In 1941, it was in this building that a military headquarters was organized and the military 101st assault brigade of riflemen was formed here. Wars were sent from the city of Aktobe to the front line of the defensive structures of the Soviet Union during the Second World War against Nazi Germany. There are memorial plaques on the building that read in Russian and Kazakh: “In this building in November-December 1941, the 101st separate rifle brigade was formed” (“Bul uide 1941, November-December aylarynda 101 derbes atkyshtar brigadasy uyimdastyryldy”). Now the building houses a boarding school for gifted children.
