The Hibatullah at-Tarazi Mosque, one of the mosques in the city of Taraz, was built in 2008 with the money of parishioners. The mosque is located at the beginning of the ancient Silk Road passing through the capital of the region, connecting the cities of Bishkek and Tashkent. The mosque is a single-domed large structure with four minarets in the corners. There are seven domes in total on the mosque. The height of the main large central dome is 32.5 meters. The lower floor of the mosque looks like two small halls. There is also a prayer hall on the second floor of the mosque.

Information -

The Hibatullah at-Tarazi Mosque is very beautiful, built in a traditional Muslim style. The total area of the mosque is 2324.2 square meters, the usable volume of which is 947.2 square meters, including the prayer room for women. The mosque is designed for 1024 people. The lower floor of the mosque can be used for Eid and Friday prayers, where up to 2,000 people can pray. The height of the mosque wall is 16.7 meters, the height of the lower floor is 4.2 meters. The height of the minarets is 47 meters. The two-storey madrasah complex, built next to the mosque, has rooms for the imam and deputy imams, a meeting hall, a room for board members, a room for reading the Koran, a library, rest rooms, marriage rooms, circumcision rooms and a dining room. Construction of the mosque began in June 2003 under the leadership of the regional akim and under the leadership of the city akim during the time of the current regional akim. The opening took place with the participation of Sheikh Derbisali and respected veterans of our region. The mosque was built with money raised by the people.
