For the filming of the film Nomad in 2005, a small set town was built in a picturesque location on the banks of the Ili River in the Almaty region. Breakfast. Transfer: Almaty - Konaev city – scenery for the film "Nomad" on the Ili River (105 km). The way from Almaty lies to the northeast. To the left of the highway, the 44-kilometer-long Moyinkum sands stretch from southwest to northeast. We pass through the city of Konaev, famous for its gambling zone, with numerous casinos, bookmakers and spot clubs that line the road.
In 2007, the Government of Kazakhstan decided to move casinos and gambling houses from Almaty to the city of Kapshagai (now Konaev). The second such gambling zone is located in the Borovoye resort in the Akmola region. At the interchange between the city of Konaev and the bridge over the Ili, turn northwest, drive 19 kilometers and turn east along the country road once again.
