Trekking to the peaks in the upper reaches of the Kim-Asar gorge -
Hiking to Panorama Peak via Furomanov Peak -
Panorama Peak is a low mountain peak, located on the mountain route immediately behind Furmanov Peak at an altitude of 3260 meters above sea level in the upper reaches of the Kim-Asar gorge. The peak is very popular among mountain hikers, a place for active recreation and a natural landmark in the Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountains near the city of Almaty. The path to both peaks usually starts from the Medeu tract, where the famous high-mountain skating rink Medeo is located in the Small Almaty gorge. On the way to the top, you will visit the famous "Swing" (2500), where people go to take spectacular photos against the backdrop of the mountains while swinging on a swing. The photo turns out as if you are flying over the mountains on a swing, very beautiful and unusual. The distance from Medeo to Panorama Peak is 9.6 kilometers one way, 5-8 hours on the way depending on your athletic training. Along the route there are signs indicating the directions of the heights and the travel time.
When hiking to Panorama Peak, be sure to use the services of certified mountain guides, they will prepare you for the hike, instruct you and safely lead you along the route. Do not go to the mountains alone, do not leave the trail, do not go close to the cliffs, watch the weather and choose clear sunny days for your trip. Do not walk in the mountains at night and in the dark.
