Akylbay village - the soul of Burabay National Park

Resort villages in Akmola region -

Guest houses and recreation on the shore of Lake Maloye Chebachye -

Akylbay village is a small but soulful corner in the heart of the Burabay National Park. Everything here breathes peace, quiet and centuries-old harmony of nature and man. This place is like a bridge between picturesque forests, blue lakes and the cultural heritage of the Kazakh land. The village is small but very picturesque, located at an altitude of 355 meters above sea level, on the shore of Lake Maloye Chebachye, which makes it incredibly popular. The village has guest houses and small hotels for recreation. The village was founded in 1878, the first school in the village was built in 1894, in 1897 the first church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God was built here. Near the village on the western shore of the lake there are picturesque sandy beaches and camping sites, the eastern part of the lake is covered with a dense, beautiful coniferous forest. Near the village there is the famous open-air museum Botai Burobay dedicated to the Botai culture. Also near the village there are such natural attractions as: Lake Borovoe, Lake Bolshoe Chebachye and Lake Shchuchye.

Akylbay is not just a village. This is a place of power. People come here not for the noise of city entertainment, but to breathe deeply, listen to the rustling of the forest, the singing of the wind in the crowns of the pines, and the calls of birds near the lakes. This is a place where you understand that real wealth is not in luxury, but in simplicity and wisdom accumulated over the centuries. The villagers are good-natured and hospitable people, ready to tell the traveler old legends, treat him to tea with herbs and homemade bread. The air here smells of pine needles, steppe wormwood and freshness, which seems to clear the mind. In summer, the whole village is buried in greenery, and in winter it turns into a fairy-tale landscape, where the pines sparkle with frost, and on the horizon, the snowy peaks of Burabay shimmer, such as the Kokshetau Upland (Mount Kokshetau), the Okzhetpes rock mountain and the Zhumbaktas rock island.
