History and information -

The history of the Burabay district goes back centuries. Even the ancient Sakas considered these places sacred; rock paintings that are more than three thousand years old have been preserved here. Later, caravans of the Great Silk Road passed through here, as evidenced by the findings of archaeologists. Kazakh khans gathered at the foot of the cliffs to administer steppe justice. They say that it was here, in the shade of ancient pines, that the wisdom of the Kazakh people was born. Modern Burabay harmoniously combines pristine nature and developed tourist infrastructure. Fans of active recreation can go fishing for pike and perch, walk along one of the many equipped eco-routes, ride horses or go skiing in winter at the Burabay resort. Those who want to improve their health will find sanatoriums with unique mud and mineral waters here. And gourmets should definitely try the local kumys and trout grown in the purest water of the Burabay lakes.

Here, among the ancient rocks and whispering pines, everyone can find something for themselves – peace, inspiration, adventures or just the opportunity to be alone with pristine nature. This is not just a geographical place on the map, but a real spiritual center of the Kazakh land, where the air is filled with the aroma of steppe grasses and centuries-old wisdom.
