Lake Svetloe - a pearl of silence in the heart of Burabay

Hike to Lake Svetloe from the village of Burabay (Borovoe) -

Nature of the Akmola region and its attractions -

Among the coniferous forests and rocky hills of the Burabay National Park, where the air smells of resin and freedom, hides an amazingly beautiful lake - Lake Svetloe (Light Lake). Locals call it Svetloe, because the water here is really unusually clean and bright, like a mirror reflecting the sky and the soul of nature. This lake is not as big as Lake Shchuchye or Lake Borovoye, but this is where its special magic lies. It seems to have been created for those who seek solitude and peace. In the morning, there is such silence here that you can hear the wind rustling in the crowns of the pines, and the shadows of birds glide over the surface of the water. The lake is 707 meters long and 442 meters wide. It is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest, through which you can walk to the lake from the village of Burabay (Borovoe). There is no tourist infrastructure on the lake, so if you want, you can only camp here.

Information -

The shores of Lake Svetloe are surrounded by centuries-old pines and birches. The water is transparent, with a delicate bluish-green tint. The bottom is visible even at depth, and on sunny days it seems as if the lake itself is glowing from within. There are no noisy crowds and fuss here. This is a place for those who want to stop, take a deep breath and hear the heart of nature beat. Walks along the paths along the shore, morning fogs over the surface of the water, bright sunsets - all this makes Svetloe special. According to legend, the lake appeared on the site of an ancient spring, over which a luminous column was once seen - as if the earth itself opened its heart. Since then, the water here has been considered healing, and the place itself - sacred. A forest path leads to the lake, winding between pine trees and granite boulders. A walk here is already a small adventure. In summer, the air is filled with the aroma of pine needles and herbs, and in autumn the forest flares up with yellow and red colors. In winter, the lake freezes, turning into an ideal platform for beautiful photos with snow-covered rocks and frozen trees. Lake Svetloe is a place of power, silence and a real natural miracle. If you want to see Burabay not as a tourist, but as a traveler and a dreamer, be sure to come here. And just stay. That will be enough.
