Attractions of the Katon-Karagay National Reserve -
Arasan Waterfall is a small mountain waterfall, located at an altitude of 1730 meters above sea level on the Arasan River, which flows out of Lake Rakhmanovskoye. The waterfall is one of the natural attractions and a place where people go for a walk when they spend time on the lake. Just below Lake Rakhmanov is a small lake Arasan, which can also be seen directly from the road, below this lake along the river and there is a waterfall. You can walk to the waterfall along the road from Lake Rakhmanovskoye or go by car, usually people go there on foot and enjoy the surrounding nature. Arasan Waterfall is formed by the Arasan River, the river is very stormy. When traveling here, you must follow safety precautions, the entire territory is in a mountainous area. A mountain path leads to the waterfall, there are signs. The waterfall consists of several cascades, the largest part of the waterfall is 6 meters high. When traveling through this mountainous area, be sure to use the services of a guide who knows the area and mountain trails of the Katon-Karagay Park well. We do not recommend traveling here alone, we recommend making mountain hikes only in a group of several people.
