The Ekibastuz mosque is an architectural monument, a sacred sacred place in the region and a place of pilgrimage in the city of Ekibastuz. The mosque was opened on September 11, 1998, designed for 1000 visitors, the central hall of the mosque is decorated with a crystal chandelier weighing 390 kilograms. In the courtyard of the mosque stands a 50-meter-high minaret. The area of the mosque is 2.8 hectares. The mosque has one large dome, the diameter of its circle is 6 meters, and several towers located around the perimeter of the mosque. Flowers are grown in the mosque's greenhouse both in winter and summer. The length of the large hall is 24 meters, width is 18 meters. Surah Fatiha and the first 10 verses of Surah Bakara of the Koran are written in the large hall. The length of the women's hall is 18 meters, width is 6 meters. There is a restaurant in the mosque building; the area of the restaurant on the top floor is 324 m². The wedding room is located on the first floor. There are also 8 employee rooms. The internal and external walls are decorated with national ornaments. The architect of the mosque is Zhenis Khaidarov.
