Iversko-Seraphim Cathedral is an Orthodox temple, cathedral, sacred sacral place and place of pilgrimage in the city of Ekibastuz. Construction of the cathedral began in 1992, immediately after the collapse of the USSR; construction was completed in 1999 and the opening of the temple took place in the same year. The temple has two dedications: dedication in honor of Seraphim of Sarov and dedication of the Icon of the Mother of God. The temple is decorated with 8 golden domes, a central large dome and 4 small domes surround it on the sides, the remaining 3 domes are located around the perimeter of the building. There is also a bell tower in the cathedral, in which there are 9 bells, the largest bell is named Blagovest, the weight of the bell is 1024 kilograms. The bells for the bell tower were cast at the Moscow Likhachev Plant. The temple building consists of 3 floors, the height is 46 meters.
