Mountain routes in the mountains of Almaty -
Nature of the Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountains and the Small Almaty Gorge -
"Black Stone" and "Tashkent" are two mountain camps (checkpoints) on a mountain route, a favorite place to stop for the night for lovers of active recreation and mountain hiking. Both of these places for rest are located at an altitude of 3235 meters above sea level high in the mountains, along a mountain trail to the "Alpingrad Glade". The "Tashkent" camp is named so because of its location, there is no wind here and grass grows, so the meadow is quite warm and cozy, tourists always use it as a place to spend the night and rest. The "Black Stone" camp is located a little higher and is named so because of the large black stone that is located here. From both campsites, radial ascents to the mountain peaks located nearby through the Tuyuksu glacier are made, and from here they make a transition to the Left Tlagar gorge.

Mountain campsites "Black Stone" and "Tashkent" are located in the upper reaches of the Small Almaty gorge, the northern slope of the Zailiysky Alatau mountain range, Medeu district, Almaty region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
