The Fantasy World Almaty amusement Park, also known as the Aya Fantasy World, is one of the most vibrant and lively vacation spots in Almaty. It is located in the southwestern part of the city, not far from the Central Stadium on the banks of the Yessentai River. This Park is rightfully considered a symbol of fun and celebration for the whole family. There is an atmosphere of joy, laughter and adventure here, which is especially enjoyed by children, teenagers and young people.
The Park occupies a large area, where dozens of attractions are located – from calm carousels to exciting extreme slides. In addition to entertainment, there are cozy cafes, food courts, recreation areas, an event stage and photo shoot areas. On hot days, guests escape to the shade of trees or fountains, and in the evening the park turns into a sparkling city of lights. The Kazakh State Almaty Circus is located next to the park.
History
Fantasy World Park was opened in the 2000s as one of the first large private amusement parks of a new format in Kazakhstan. Its creation has become an important step in the development of the Almaty recreation industry. From the very beginning, the park was conceived as a place where you can spend the whole day without losing the feeling of celebration and magic.
Over the years, the park has been updated several times: new attractions, children's areas, restaurants and concert venues have appeared. The Park has become a venue for many city events, children's festivals and celebrations.
Architecture and layout
The architectural design of the park fully corresponds to its name – "Fantasy World". Bright facades, fabulous turrets, arches, sculptures of cartoon characters and fountains create a feeling as if you have entered a colorful world from childhood dreams. The main entrance is decorated with tall castle–style gates, and paths lead to various themed areas - children's, extreme, family, and recreation areas.
The evening lighting makes a special impression: the rides, buildings and alleys sparkle with colorful lights, and music is playing over the park. All this creates a sense of celebration that does not end day or night.

Fantasy World Park is located in Almaty at 50a/1 Abai Avenue, between the Almaty Circus and the Sports Palace, Bostandyk district, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Park can be reached by buses: No. 3 (night), 25, 34, 57, 62, 65, 66, 92, 98, 118, 120, 128, Trolleybuses No. 5, 19, 25. The Mukhtar Auezov Theater metro station is 450 meters away, so you can get here by metro station. Also, for convenience, it is best to use taxi services or private transport.
Working hours: March-October, from Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 19:00 (until 21:00 in summer)
Saturday-Sunday from 12:00 to 19:00 (until 21:00 in summer)
When visiting the park, keep an eye on the weather, some attractions may not work in rainy weather.

Legend and atmosphere
According to the old-timers, when the park was just being built, an old orchard grew in its place. People joked that the spirit of the garden would not leave this place, but would simply turn into an energy of joy and fun. And indeed, even years later, there is a special lightness in the "Fantasy World" – as if the space itself is filled with good energy.
There is also a modern legend: it is believed that if you make a wish standing on the bridge by the fountain in the center of the park and throw a coin there, it will certainly come true. Many visitors, especially children, believe in this, and every day the fountain sparkles with coins that lie at the bottom, reflecting the sun and children's smiles.
Fantasy World has long been one of the main vacation destinations in Almaty. This is not just an amusement park, but a whole family leisure center where residents and guests of the city gather. It unites generations – children laugh, parents relax, and young people look for vivid emotions.
