In the distant 1990, even under the Soviet regime in the city of Aktau and its environs, there was no Orthodox church, in 1990 the True society was created in the city, this society was the ancestor of the construction of the temple in Aktau. The company sent a letter, a petition in the allocation of land for the construction of the temple, the city authorities went to the meeting of the Orthodox society and in 1990 the Executive Committee of the Aktau State Council was allocated land to start the construction of the temple. They consecrated the temple on April 7 on the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
