History
The Head of State worked in this residence for seven years (1997-2004). The building was built in December 1997 in connection with the relocation of the capital. The first visitors were received by the museum in March 2005. In the course of the consistent, consistent formation of materials concerning the history of independence, the logic of the exposition display was achieved.
Exposition
The museum's fund reflects chronologically and thematically the history of the country on the path to sovereignty, the main directions of our domestic and foreign policy, initiatives of interaction at the regional and global levels. The museum's collections make it possible to recognize the history and culture of modern Kazakhstan from the point of view of world development, since the foundation of the museum's fund consists of documents, photo and video materials covering the main stages of the formation and development of a sovereign country. The personal library of the head of state is located in three halls of the museum, which is 12700 items of storage. The collection consists of domestic and foreign publications.
