Korzhun Zapadnoye is a high-altitude lake, located at an altitude of 3430 meters above sea level. The area of the lake is 34557 meters, the perimeter of the lake is 748 meters. The length of the lake from south to north is 246 meters, the width in the central part of the lake is 190 meters. In the northern part of the lake, 950 meters away, there is a glacier with a length of 600 meters. The glacier closes the upper part of the glacier valley.

Information -
A stream flows out of Korzhun Lake, which after 400 meters flows into another moraine, flowing lower lake, located at an altitude of 3486 meters above sea level. The lake is located in a small, moraine basin, in the west of it there is a valley glacier, the length of the lake is 180 meters. The glacier flows down to the western slope from an unnamed peak with a height of 4057 meters above sea level. In the southwestern part, at the end of the glacier, there is another small moraine lake at an altitude of 3569 meters above sea level. From the southern part of the Western Korzhun Lake, a river with a length of 8.2 kilometers flows out, which forms the main channel of the Korzhun River below. 300 meters to the north-west of Lake Zapadny Korzhun there is a moraine, the main flowing lake Korzhun at an altitude of 3368 meters above sea level.
