Aksu Soltustik is a mountain lake, located at an altitude of 3218 meters above sea level, zero is located in a closed glacial valley with an open northern part. 460 meters to the southeast of Aksu Soltustik Lake is Aksu Ontustik Lake, located at an altitude of 3307 meters above sea level. A river flows from the southwestern part of the lake, which flows into the Aksu River after 5.2 kilometers.

Aksu Soltustik Lake is located on the left tributary, in the upper reaches of the Aksu River, on the northern slope of the Dzungarian Alatau ridge in Aksu district, Almaty region.

The area of Aksu Soltustik Lake is 94090 square meters, the perimeter is 1408 meters. The length of the lake from the southeast to the northwest is 58 meters, the greatest width in the central part is 215 meters. The lake is located below the moraine of the closed part of the glacier. The lake is filled from a stream with a length of 460 meters, which flows out of the Aksu Ontustik Lake. Above the lakes is the Aksu Batys glacier with a length of 1.7 kilometers. The area of the glacier is 1.24 square kilometers, the perimeter is 4.8 kilometers. The upper boundary of the Aksu Batys ice is located at an altitude of 3794 meters above sea level. The main part of the glacier is located at an altitude of 3307 meters above sea level. 1.8 kilometers to the south-east of the lake in the crest of the Dzungarian Alatau ridge is the Demekpe pass with a height of 3742 meters above sea level.
