Shokai Datka-mausoleum, an architectural monument of the XVIII century, is a beautiful low building built of baked brick, with two towers, minarets on the sides. An arched passage (gate) leads to the building also laid out of burnt yellow brick, the roof of the building is crowned by a round dome. There is a monument to Shokai Datka next to the mausoleum. The mausoleum is a sacred place and a place of pilgrimage.

Shokai Datka Mausoleum is located in Zhambyl region, Sarysu district, near the village of Saudakent.

Information -

The Shokai Datka mausoleum was first explored in 1946 by an archaeological expedition led by the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, researchers A. H. Margulan and A. N. Maryashev. In 1982, the mausoleum was included in the list of protected objects and in the list of historical and cultural monuments of Kazakhstan. Scientist Chokan Valikhanov mentioned in his works about the Shokai Datka mausoleum, there is also a description of the mausoleum. In 2017, the mausoleum was restored, the floor slabs were replaced, the walls were also restored and the waterproofing of the building was done.
