The Church of the Most Holy Theotokos is located in the village of Derbisek, the church building is currently abandoned, but has been preserved, is in disrepair. The architecture of the building is incredibly beautiful, the building is made of brick. Presumably the church was built in the period from 1890 to 1915. Consequently, according to the Turkestan Diocesan Bulletin No. 17 for 1917, the church was dedicated to the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. The Church of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Derbisek is incredibly beautiful. When the church building was built, it was the most beautiful building in the region, it remains the most beautiful building to this day, the building has a main hall, and a second room, the roof is crowned by three domes. The architecture of the building is incredible, the complexity of some details surprises with its beauty and complexity. One gets the impression that in the distant past our ancestors built much more beautiful than now, as well as the technology of bricklaying surprises. Local residents from the village of Derbisek say that once they decided to demolish the church building because of its emergency condition, they drove a tractor for this, but it did not work out to demolish the building because the walls turned out to be incredibly strong. Complete documentary data about its construction, architect, etc. have not been preserved, this gives even more mystique to this structure. The church building fell into disrepair after the Bolsheviks came to power after the October Revolution and these people were against religion and the Russian Orthodox Church.
