Orthodox churches of Turkestan region -
Ancient churches in the Turkestan region -
There is an "Unknown Church" in the village of Karaspan, presumably built in 1900. The construction of the "unknown church" is quite complex, the masonry is very beautiful, the church is a one-floor building with an entrance on one side. The building has been restored, but no church services are held in the building, the building is closed, you can admire it from the outside and take photos. There are no domes on the church, perhaps they were, but they collapsed over time, but this is not certain, perhaps the building was originally designed that way.
How to get there, visit -

Information -
The "Unknown Church" in the village of Karaspan is marked on Google maps as the Pre-Revolutionary Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Apparently, this church will be restored in the future and services will be held here. There is no exact information about this structure, just as there is no information when the church was built and who was the architect. In the Turkestan region there are several unknown Orthodox churches that were built in ancient times and about which very little information has been preserved. The architecture of all the buildings are similar to each other, all the buildings are made of brick and very beautiful.
