Esmambet Ata is a mausoleum, a necropolis of the XVIII - XIX centuries, a sacred place, a place of pilgrimage on the Mangyshlak peninsula. The necropolis of Esmambet ata is very popular among pilgrims and travelers in Mangyshlak. Traveling around the peninsula, we will visit all its holy places, including this mausoleum. Esmambet Ata was a holy man, preached Islam, was a respected man. The monument was investigated in 1981 and registered and later included in the list of monuments of culture and history of Kazakhstan. The leader of the expedition was S. Zhunisova, an archaeologist and researcher of ancient structures. A new building stylized as a small white mosque has been built on the site of the Esmambet Ata necropolis, the building is very beautiful and can be seen from afar. Also, on the territory of the necropolis there are many ancient monuments, burials, which are called koytas, saganatamams and kulpytas.
