Alasha Khan is a mausoleum, (X–XI centuries), an ancient architectural structure in Ulytau district, Kazakhstan. The mausoleum has a peculiar architectural design dating back to the Karakhanid era and is a Turkish architectural structure that is at the stage of transition of the Turkic world to the Islamic religion. The mausoleum was built on the right bank of the Karakengir River of red brick, rectangular in shape, with a dome, decorated with an oriental pattern.

The mausoleum of Alasha Khan, according to scientists and researchers, belongs to the era of the Karakhanids, and the architecture of the building dates back to the times of the Oguz-Kipchaks of the X-XIII centuries. Other researchers claim that the building belongs to an earlier period, because the dome on the building is very old, which indicates a large period of time that has passed, as well as architecture unlike any other monument, which refers this object to distant times. Monuments of this type are most often found in Turkmenistan. The first written data about the Mausoleum of 1855 we find in the article Sh . Ualikhanov. In 1868, in the work of Lieutenant Colonel Krasovsky, the first details are told about the mausoleum. In 1945-1946, during the expedition led by M. B. Levinson, photographic fixation, technical research, and measurement work were carried out for the first time. In 1946, under the leadership of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, archaeological research began on the territory of the monument. In 1982, the Mausoleum of Alash Khan was included in the list of monuments of historical and cultural significance of the Kazakh SSR and taken under state protection.
