Ketebay Mausoleum-an architectural monument of the XIX century, also known as Ketebaya Kumbez, is a square structure made of red baked brick, built in 1898. The mausoleum was built in honor of the Kazakh batyr Ketebay Zholayevich (Zholayuly). The upper part of the monument was destroyed, after restoration the dome was restored. In 1975, the mausoleum was explored and described by an expedition of the Ministry of Culture of the Kazakh SSR.

Ketebay Mausoleum is located in Ulytau district, Ulytau region, 20 kilometers from the village of Malshybai, the left bank of the Kara-Kengir River. GPS coordinates: N48°19'29" E67°59'05"

Information -

The Ketebay Mausoleum is part of the Labak Monument complex and is located next to another mausoleum, which is called the Labak Mausoleum. The mausoleum building is oriented to the southwest. Inside and outside the building is lined with baked bricks. It continues from its square shape to a round dome through angular planes. A two-row edge adorns the upper part of the main facade. Other facades were braided with bricks, in the form of Christmas tree masonry. The entrance arch facing southwest, the top of the mausoleum is crowned with a brick dome. Ketebai Mausoleum was included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Monuments of Republican Significance in 1982.
