Oglandy Ata is a necropolis of the XVIII-XIX centuries, an architectural monument, a sacred sacred place, a place of pilgrimage, in the Mangystau region, located near another equally significant sacred object of the Beket Ata mosque. The necropolis of Oglanda is a complex of ancient tombs, here you can see such monuments as koytas, saganatams, sandyktas. The necropolis of Oglandy Ata, this vast necropolis is located in the desert tract of Oglandy, on the flat gentle slopes of two ravines and consists of graves of various periods dating from the XVII to the beginning of the XVIII centuries. During his lifetime, Saint Beket Ata bequeathed that pilgrim, before worshipping him, visit this place, which the locals also consider holy. The necropolis stretches along the hill, its most ancient and visible part on the modern surface is represented by burials marked by stone slabs made of rough stone with vertically mounted rough-hewn slabs, simple fences, stone sandyktas boxes. In the XIX century, simple saganatams and kulpytas appeared on the necropolis. The surface of the walls, which are covered with highly artistic ornamental carvings. The modern mausoleum was erected over the grave of Oglan Ata and is located at the entrance to the territory of the necropolis and has simple architectural forms and a non-standard shape of an elongated dome.
