Information -
The Kokkumbet Mausoleum is a structure that resembles a tent, that is, a building of a portal-tent type, composed of large cyclopean limestone slabs bonded together with clay mortar. The dome is also lined with stone blocks in the "false style" style, and the facade is lined with well-lined stone slabs. Inside, the mausoleum consists of a single chamber-a room where the altar and burial are located. The architecture of the monumental monument undoubtedly testifies to the special status and veneration of the buried – a major representative of the steppe elite. The Kokkumbet Mausoleum is the only monument of its kind from the XIV century of the Golden Horde period on the territory of Mangyshlak.
