Pilgrimage to the mausoleum of Zhuban Ana on the Sarysu River -
Zhuban Ana is a mausoleum of the XI-XII century, an architectural monument, a sacred sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the Ulytau region. The mausoleum is a square building at the base with an octagon-shaped dome on the roof. The first written information about the mausoleum belongs to P.I. Rychkov of the Orenburg Topography (1762). Shokan Ualikhanov wrote a short article about the monument and drew its design for the first time (1863).

The mausoleum of Zhuban An was described by academician A. Margulan, he attributed the monument to the medieval construction of the Kipchaks. The mausoleum was built according to a rectangular cubic design. An octagonal dome was installed above the wall masonry. There are mihrabs in the four corners of the mausoleum, the entrance faces southeast. The building is built of red baked bricks. The building of the monument on the outer perimeter is 6x6 meters, on the inner 4x4 meters, height 6 meters. The foundation is lined with stone slabs 50 cm high. Bricks measuring 27x27x6 cm were used for construction. The mausoleum of Zhuban-Ana is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Monuments of National importance and is under state protection.
