Ak Edil Kozha is an ancient mausoleum, an architectural monument of the 19th century, a sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the Akmola region. The mausoleum is dedicated to a preacher whose name was Edil, he preached Islam on the territory of modern Kazakhstan, was a revered and respected person, he was also a healer and people elevated him to the rank of saints. The mausoleum is a dilapidated building built of clay bricks; the building is in poor condition and requires urgent restoration.

Edil Kozha was a religious man who became famous as a spreader of Islam. In fact, the monument is also called the burial place of Zhalmaganbet Haji, but Ak Edil Khoja was his son. Yedil Hoxha instilled faith in the society. He must have been not only a religious man, but also a sociable, caring person. It is said that he has done a worthy job of quelling the conflicts that arise from time to time in the country, reconciling brothers and calling for peace among relatives. The beacon of honesty - Edil Kozha was named Ak Edil Hoxha, adding the suffix “ak” to his name, that is, “white”, he spoke without reproaches, spoke honestly and instilled morality in people. Thanks to the honesty of his work and the purity of his intentions, he won the great respect of the people. Mazar Edil Kozha belongs to the great work of religious architecture of the 19th century. This small shrine was built in the form of a Kazakh yurt (yurt). The building was damaged by wind and rain. The top of the dome and the doorway are slightly collapsed. The total volume of the tomb is 7.8 x 7.6 meters with a height of five meters. On the east side, a rectangular door three and a half meters high leads into the premises.
