Kuygenzhar is an ancient mound of the 1st-2nd centuries BC, one of the most ancient royal burials discovered, an architectural monument, a sacred and sacred place. The burial ground dates back to the early Iron Age, has a height of 3.5 meters and a diameter of 50 meters. The mound is a bulk round hill; excavations and research are currently being carried out on the mound. It was established that in ancient times the mound was plundered, but even after the robbery, the mound provided researchers with very important discoveries in the field of ancient architecture.

The Kuygenzhar burial mound is located in the vicinity of the city of Astana, Akmola region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kuygenzhar mound was made of clay bricks; a 6-meter long corridor (dromos) led from the eastern part of the mound to the burial site; the corridor was discovered during excavations. The burial chamber of the king was 2.3 meters long and 1.7 meters wide; several steps led into the chamber. During excavations on the mound, the remains of a man, a man, presumably a certain king of those distant times, were found, and some iron objects of unknown purpose were also found. On the territory of the mound, other burials from the Middle Ages were found, in which silver earrings and bronze plaques for a belt were discovered. The entire complex has very important historical significance and archaeological work is still being carried out on it.
