Baubek Batyr is a mausoleum, an architectural monument, a sacred sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the Akmola region. Information -

Baubek Batyr is a national hero, a Kazakh warrior (batyr), who fought under the military leader Kenesary Khan in the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people in 1837-1847. Baubek Batyr was born in 1820, became an orphan early and was subsequently adopted by Kenesary Khan and began to be raised as a warrior. From an early age, Baubek knew how to fight, was a very strong and persistent warrior, at the age of 15 he defeated the Kurgyz warrior Otynchi in a competition, after which he became popular. He becomes one of Kenesary Khan's most reliable assistants in organizing the national liberation uprising and military operations. During the Soviet period, the work “History of the Kazakh SSR” by Ermukhan Bekmakhanov, a famous scientist-historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, the novel “Khakhar” by the writer Ilyas Yesenberlin and the novel “Erdenkol” by the writer Sabyr Sharipov, which tells about Baubek Batyr and his exploits, were published.
