Ancient mausoleums and sacred sites of the Ulytau region -
Saukym is a mausoleum, an architectural monument, a sacred sacred place and a place of pilgrimage in the boundless steppe of the Ulytau region. The mausoleum is part of the ancient necropolis of Yerden, and another famous mausoleum of Yerden is located nearby. The Saikum mausoleum is built of burnt red brick, the building is not large, its dimensions are 6 x 7 meters, the building height is 4.5 meters, the building is crowned with a round dome. There is an altar inside the mausoleum. In the past, the mausoleum building was in disrepair, now the building has been completely restored. Pilgrims always come to the necropolis to say a prayer
