Holy Trinity Cathedral is a unique architectural monument of the late 18th - early 19th centuries. The first stone church, three-throne. It was built with the blessing of Bishop Varlaam of Tobolsk and Siberia using engineering funds from 1789 to 1809. Consecrated on September 9, 1810. For many years, the Holy Trinity Cathedral was the only church in the city, its only cultural center, where the Orthodox people were baptized, married and saw off on their last journey, until the magnificent and handsome Holy Intercession Cathedral was built in 1888, destroyed in 1936.
