The monument to Shakshak Zhanibek Batyr was erected to one of the national heroes of the Kazakh people, commander, negotiator, statesman, hero Zhanibek Shakchakuly. Zhanibek defended the lands of Kazakhstan from foreign invaders. The author of the monument is the famous sculptor Kadyrkhan Kakimov. The opening of the monument was attended by famous scientists, writers, members of parliament, regional leaders, the public of Kostanay and guests of the city. A special place was chosen for the monument to Batyr Zhanibek; the monument was installed at the main gate of the city with the aim that guests coming from the airport would look at the monument to our warrior, raise the national spirit, and admire our country and unity. Shakshak Zhanibek is one of the heroes who defeated the Kalmyk hero in battle in times of troubles. As a negotiator, he cooperated with neighboring countries, participated in the development of the nation, the unity of the country and the creation of the state.
