The Vladimir School in the city of Pavlodar, one of the oldest buildings in the city, is a monument of architecture and history of the city, one of the main attractions of the city, was built in 1872 with the money of the local merchant Artemy Derov. It was one of the first brick buildings in the city, and the building also had its own unique architecture, which made it stand out from other buildings in the city. The building was entirely built of red brick, which was produced here in the city of Pavlodar. Initially, the building housed a pedagogical college, then a pedagogical school, and now it is a pedagogical college named after B. A. Akhmetov. Memorial plaques to the Heroes of the USSR S. Mutkenov (1985), K. Suraganov, M. Kabylbekov are installed on the building.
