At that time, infrastructure began to be built here, a cafe on the shore of the lake, places for recreation, changing rooms and toilets, and water was supplied. The depth of the lake is 5 meters, the area of the lake is 5400 hectares, the lake is mainly surrounded by a sandy beach, there are places with small cliffs. The peculiarity of Lake Maraldy lies in the healing mud that is on the lake, and the salt water itself also has its own healing properties.

Treatment with silt mud from Lake Maraldy is popular; the mud is used for rheumatism, joint pain, therapy of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, gynecological, urological, and skin diseases. Lake mud is also used in the treatment of respiratory organs and the initial stages of diabetes. There is also medicinal blue, gray, and white clay on the lake, which can be used for cosmetic purposes. Small Artemia crustaceans live in the lake, these crustaceans give the lake a red tint, poachers hunt for these crustaceans, these crustaceans are used in medicine, this type of crustacean and the lake itself is under the protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Near the lake there is an artificial spring, the water in which is also healthy and mineral, its mineralization is 2.5 grams per liter.
