Events at the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic –
The Aktobe Regional Philharmonic named after Gaziza Zhubanova, a cultural and concert institution, was founded on September 16, 1944. In 1997, the Philharmonic building received the name of the famous composer Gazia Zhubanova. Since 1987, there have been such concert groups as “Arayly Aktobe”, “Kunil Ashar”, “Karlygashtar”, which regularly perform at the Philharmonic, as well as a musical lecture group. The Philharmonic includes: an orchestra of pop and brass music, a Kazakh chamber choir, a folk ensemble “Dombira-Dastan”, and an oriental dance ensemble. Honored artists of Kazakhstan R. Akzharova, G. Koishibaeva, T. Ospanov, Zh. Seyilov and others perform at the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic.
