The monument to Tleu batyr, a Kazakh warrior, was erected in Aktobe in 2015. The monument is a monumental art structure and depicts a sculpture of a warrior sitting astride a horse with a spear in his right hand, mounted on a stone pedestal. The monument is also decorated with Kazakh national ornaments, the warrior batyr is depicted in full military attire of that time. The sculptor of the monument is A. Akhmetov.

Shekti Tleu batyr was born in 1630, a follower of Tauke Khan, a national hero, a warrior, possessed incredible strength. He was one of the noble sons of the Kazakh people who shed their blood and fought for the preservation of freedom and independence of the great land left by their ancestors. In the 17th century, Tleu began to actively participate in the defense of the country. Although the Kalmyks defeated the Nogais, they were unable to capture the lands of the Kazakh tribes in Western Kazakhstan thanks to such heroes as Tleu Batyr. Tleu participated in the Battle of Sairam in 1864, which took place near the city of Sairam, he was the leader of an army of 17,000 soldiers. All the wars of this army were from the younger zhuz. According to historians, since there was no common khan in Kazakhstan in 1652-1680, the pretenders to the throne divided the country into parts, which led to a great political crisis. Outside of it, the enemy, advancing from all sides, also caused suffering to people. One of the pressing issues was the urgent need to elect a khan. Then famous judges and heroes supported Tauke Khan and brought him to power. At the conference, which was attended by all people of the Kazakh people, Tileu Batyr also made a speech and supported Tauke Khan. It seems that the sharp and reasonable words that he found and said became transparent and very convincing. Tauke Khan, pleased with Tileu Batyr, chose him as one of his advisers.
